Prioritising resources to develop drugs for COVID-19 treatment

The Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) announced results of pre-clinical research on a herbal medicine for COVID-19 treatment called VIPDERVIR at an online press conference on August 10. With the positive initial results in pre-clinical research, the drug has been approved by the National Ethics Committee in Biomedical Research under the MOH with clinical study protocol for COVID-19 patients.
