Ho Chi Minh City to cancel second phase of high school graduation exams
The city will not organise the second phase of the graduation exams, which were scheduled for August 5-7, due to the ongoing complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The city’s Department of Education and Training will consider graduation recognition for eligible candidates in accordance with regulations.
More than 3,230 candidates in the city are eligible to sit the second phase of the high school graduation exams. They will need to submit their applications to get a graduation bye.
*In Phu Yen Province, there are 1,332 candidates eligible to take part in the second phase of the high school graduation exams but a total of 924 candidates wish to receive a graduation bye and only 408 candidates will sit the exam.
To ensure safety for the candidates, Phu Yen Provincial Department of Education and Training will organise SARS-CoV-2 screening tests for all candidates.
In addition, medical workers with necessary equipment will be present at all test sites in case of emergencies.
