319 Hai Duong medical staffs and students set out to provide aid to Ho Chi Minh City
On the evening of June 30, Hai Duong University of Medical Technology held a ceremony to see off 319 cadres, lecturers and students who volunteered to support Ho Chi Minh City against the Covid-19 epidemic.
The group consisted of 9 officials and 310 students in the fields of testing, general medicine, and nursing. Before leaving for the south to support the fight against the epidemic, the entire group was vaccinated against Covid-19.
Among the students participating in this volunteering, many have just recently returned after 40 days of providing aid to the two provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang. Representatives of Hai Duong Department of Health and the school's leaders encouraged the group of staff, lecturers and students to volunteer for observing the regulations on epidemic prevention and control as well as sending their best wishes for successfully completing the task. , helping Ho Chi Minh City quickly control the epidemic situation, to soon return. Dr. Dinh Thi Dieu Hang, Principal of Hai Duong University of Health Technology said: Since the beginning of the year, the school has spent 2 months fighting the epidemic in Hai Duong, more than 1 month supporting Bac Giang and Bac Ning. Facing the complicated epidemic situation in Ho Chi Minh City today, the school has organized a group of staff, lecturers and students to continue supporting everyone. After 4 hours of receiving the order of the Ministry of Health, the school asked and received the response of 310 students and 9 volunteer teachers.
Praising the volunteer spirit of the staff, lecturers and students, the University's leadership representatives hope that the members of the Youth Union with their existing capacity will promote the tradition of the University and complete excellently. tasks assigned by the Ministry of Health.
At the program, the school supported the group 50 million VND to encourage the spirit of teachers, students and students before leaving.
