The message states that the efforts to curb the virus have produced encouraging results, but the situation remains complicated in many provinces and cities.

Therefore, Prime Minister Chinh asked for strict adherence to the instructions of the central government, the Prime Minister and the Central Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control as well as the Ministry of Health’s guidelines in order to soon curb the pandemic and bring life back to the new normal.

He noted that measures to prevent the spread of the virus must be taken in a scientific and effective way while corruption, wastefulness and group interests are totally prohibited in the procurement of medical equipment, drugs and vaccines.

The Prime Minister also requested that vaccination be administered in a quick, convenient and safe manner, adding that it is not permitted to charge people any fees for vaccination.
