Call center launched to facilitate COVID-19 prevention and control
The call centre was established in response to the ‘Sharing love - Joining hands to Overcome the Pandemic" programme, which is being co-hosted by the the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee and the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee.
People calling the centre’s hotline at 1900 638 090 can receive information on the ambulance service, medicine bags for home treatment of F0 cases, oxygen ATMs, food relief, and funeral services.
Accordingly, four community ambulances are available to transfer COVID-19 patients or suspects to medical facilities.
In addition, the call center can help connect patients with hospitals and COVID-19 treatment facilities in Ho Chi Minh City, and connect F0 cases at home with experienced and qualified medical staff while delivering medicine to F0 cases at home.
The call centre is also linked with "oxygen ATM" stations so that COVID-19 patients can be given free oxygen tanks for home treatment during the social distancing period in Ho Chi Minh City.
It will also receive and distribute food relief to support needy people in the city.
